Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Start up in-country drilling planning operations.
2. The position actively manages the rig location and requires extensive time spent walking the rig, standing next to the driller during specific operations, and reviewing the equipment status and condition for upcoming rig activities. If the candidate prefers to spend most of their time sitting in the company man’s office then do not apply for this position.
3. Assist the in-country drilling personnel with managing the existing inactive wells.
4. Visit in-country the drilling rig contractors and service companies to assess their capability and equipment condition during the tendering activities.
5. Provide third party engineering QaQC for well engineering planning conducted in the London and Ankara offices.
6. Daily monitor and review the JV partner drilling activities (DDRs, etc) and ensure their best practices and learnings are captured and implemented into Operator drilling planning and operations.
7. Work with the Head of Drilling to develop a world class performance drilling team with goals for annual performance improvement.
8. Assist Subsurface, HSE, Civil works, and other Departments with start up activities.
9. Manage day to day drilling, workover, well test, and completion operations.

11. Show strong HSE leadership during the well engineering planning and execution phases.
12. Follow up of the performance of the well with respect to established KPIs and develop recommendations for operational improvement. Monitor service company performances and review reports of non-conformance events.
13. Review technical scope of works for contracting drilling and workover engineering planning. Participate in technical and commercial evaluations.
14. Support and organize peer assists, technical reviews, DWOPs, CWOPS, TWOP, Spud meetings, BARs, AARs, etc.
15. Ensures all work within the area of responsibility is adequately documented and lessons learned are captured for the benefit of future operations worldwide.
16. Ensure well material and service providers comply with specified quality assurance requirements.
17. Ensures all drilling and completion activities comply with company standards and appropriate industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
18. Ensure drilling meets subsurface well objectives and requirements.
19. Build effective relationships and interact professionally with internal / external stakeholders and service companies.
20. Provide inputs during the drilling, completion, and well test job execution and perform or supervise the engineers conducting the post job analysis as needed.
21. Plans for future wells and ensure required materials and services are available in country and allocated as required.
22. Management of Change: ensure stakeholders clearly understand the proposed change and that the advice given is relevant and accurate.
23. Manage the Operator Drilling folders and files and development of a drilling learnings database.
24. Ensure daily drilling activity codes are accurate.
25. Utilize the pore pressure data base and pore pressure monitoring capability.
26. Provide daily support to the Head of Drilling and Drilling Manager(s) including updating plots, developing and maintaining daily electronic records and notebooks, other activities as needed.
27. Assist with the development of new company drilling and completion policies and procedures, guidelines, and regulations. Monitor compliance. Ensure MOC process complied with and monitor well delivery process for exploration and development wells including QA/QC, document control, drilling software requirements and tools, etc. Work close with all assets and departments to ensure commonality and continuous improvement process is in place.
28. Review and implement existing QaQc drilling and completion policies and procedures.
29. Assist the development of quarterly completion statistics and drilling operations review for senior management performance review meetings and QPRs with service companies.
30. Assist with special projects and studies, internal investigations, peer reviews, audits, insurance claims, NPT and invoice issues, etc.
31. Work close with HSE department to ensure all HSE requirements are in compliance. Work with security personnel.
32. Work with accounts payable system (EAM, Proactis or similar system) and associated personnel to ensure system used correctly with invoices paid in a timely fashion. Review invoices for accuracy, credit adjustments for NPT, etc.
33. Utilize the tangibles inventory list and coordinate with appropriate departments involved with tangible assets.
34. Provide 24 hours per day / 7 days per week oversight with drilling and completion operations.
35. Other responsibilities as assigned. Note the responsibilities and objectives are subject to changes and modifications at any time.
36. Attend internal or external company, regulatory, or partner meetings as required.
37. Review drilling and completion techniques in the geographic area and make improvements.

The Role:
The Maintenance Advisor will be tasked with the efficient execution of maintenance activities in their assigned area. In addition, the Maintenance Advisor will be a mentor and coach to the maintenance technicians and contractors in the areas of safety, reliability and efficient execution of work.

Well Testing Operator
The Well Testing Operator shall be responsible in tending, control, or operate power-driven, stationary, or portable pumps and manifold systems to transfer gases, oil, other liquids, slurries, or powdered materials to and from various vessels and processes.
Ensures that adequate safety precautions are taken prior to any job.

Thru Tubing Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for…
Ensuring all downhole equipment is serviced, repaired, maintained and tested to the required quality standards of Weatherford IMS.
Ensure 8 Gems is followed and correct PPE is worn by maintenance technician and safe working practices are followed.
Ensure all equipment follows the thru tubing QA/QC Standards , all paperwork associated for this is correct and completed.
Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are to checked on prior to dispatch and return from internal or external clients.
Hold frequent TBT meetings for activities for the week / day , prioritize with Thru Tubing Country Operations Manager or Thru Tubing Head of Department for proper planning of the day’s activities
Any NC post job or damage is reported immediately to Operations
Perform all activity safely and under the supervision of the Thru Tubing workshop supervisor.
Promote and mentor Workshop staff to build synergy within the workshop.
Collaborate with Thru Tubing Administrator Supervisor to ensure accurate count of assets and inventory.
To adhere to established Weatherford work ethics and policies at all times when dealing with our customers.
To develop local proactive business strategies and opportunities with the Algeria management rather than follow a reactive process to the clients business.

To have complete understanding of existing contracts including incentive schemes and price escalation clauses to maximize the value of the contract and reduce DSO, when putting together commercial proposal for clients.
Complete annual and quarterly and monthly budgeting and forecasting.
To keep up to date on competitor strategies, services and technology, and communicate this information through appropriate channels.
To remain aware of the costs of doing business and suggest ideas on how to reduce the operations cost base.
To prepare contract documents for tenders that utilize the information gathered on client organizations, internal preferences and competitor strategies/services.
Work with management to assist with hiring, supervising, and maintaining an adequately trained and motivated sales staff and ensure compliance with company personnel policies.

The Role:
The Water Treatment Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing safe, compliant and reliable operations activities and providing a clear direction with regards to priorities for the source water treatment facility.
Reporting directly to the OTL, the Water Treatment Operations Specialist is the key interface between the Operations team and the Water Treatment Plant.
Water Treatment Operations Specialist role is a coaching and advisory position. Deliverables are achieved through influence, and this is heavily reliant upon the relationship the individual develops with national staff at the field locations
The role will work closely with the Operations Maintenance Advisor to deliver safe execution of the facility plan and timely resolution of operational issues.
As a member of the operations team the Water Treatment Operations Specialist has a key role in ensuring compliance against all areas of Process Safety, Operating Discipline and Product Quality.
The Water Treatment Operations Specialist may deputise for the OTL as required and will have direct interaction with maintenance, sub-surface, production optimisation, inspection, engineering, and projects

Risk / Operating Discipline
* Ensure changes to plant and equipment is subject to the appropriate level of Management of Change before putting into service.
* Be visible on site to test and verify that Operating Discipline standards are being set and maintained by the site personnel.
* Responsible for ensuring full compliance with any Operational Risk Assessments (ORAs) that are in place covering defective plant or conditions
* Responsible for ensuring timely execution and accurate close out of all production related maintenance.
* Provide assurance to OTL on compliance at site with Control of Work procedure. Provide coaching on site to Site Controllers, Area Authority's and Isolating Authority's
People
* Lead by example and fully compliant with code of conduct and Values and Behaviours expectations when dealing with others in the organisation.
* Motivate the team, celebrate their successes and ensure their views and problems are listened to and suggestions are considered
* Is a competent and active process isolation assessor.
Production Delivery, Optimisation & Excellent Performance
* Responsible for understanding the day to day plant optimisation and quality constraints in order maximise daily production.
* Actively monitor product quality and manage interventions when quality issues arise. Be proactive to make early interventions on indication of quality issues.
* Responsible for ensuring robust plant watch keeping and monitoring routines are completed with all deviations acted on and ensuring system is fit for purpose.
* Manage plant availability to ensure that safety critical maintenance is completed and production requirements are met.
* Lead and support 5 Whys investigations for all production losses and product quality issues over defined limits.
* Responsible for updating the plant vulnerability database so it is an accurate reflection of plant status.
* Ensure plant operations are operated within the design envelope and that any deviations are risk assessed via operational risk assessments.
* Plant is prepared and reinstated in support of TAR execution schedule, ensuring SIMOPS are identified and managed early enough in the schedule.
* Provide project team support during design, construction and commissioning phases
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* A proven experience in injection water treatment plants is a must.
* In depth knowledge of source water chemical treatment, de-aeration, mechanical filtration and decontamination.
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in water treatment and injection operations preferably in a culturally diverse working environment.
* Interpersonal communication skills are critically important to the Ops Specialist position and should be demonstrably excellent.
* Experience of supervisory roles in culturally and linguistically diverse working environments.
* In depth knowledge of control of work systems, previous experience with issuing Permits to Work system.
* Not essential but preferable Middle Eastern cultural awareness, and basics in the Arabic language.
