Project Engineer Mechanical (PMT)
Responsibilities:
- Project Manager / Project Engineer provides technical expert guidelines on refineries and petrochemical studies and needed advice and guidance in term of project technical details and various utilities design and standards for the Industrial Investment Development Department as needed, through the different type of communications, and liaisons with different operating companies and vendors in the petrochemical field.
- Reports directly to the Director of Industrial Investment Development Department, to receive administrative and technical direction in terms of project objectives. Interfaces with other Client’s Departments, End Users and occasionally with senior management and client representatives. Daily contacts with Company’s’ and Client’s Management staff.
- Provide the best expertise, guidance, and technical support to the Industrial Investment Development Department in refineries and petrochemical plant as part of the project management team.
- Evaluate mega project requirement land schemes, utilities connection plan, and integration possibilities.
- Provide technical assessment on refinery and petrochemical project management.
- Review petrochemical plant design and site preparation.
- Provide a petrochemical plant utility requirement and study the potential downstream opportunities.
- Review the petrochemical plant technical specifications and details and various utilities design and standards.
- Organizes, coordinates, and meet with the concerned petrochemical and refinery companies.
- Attends regularly scheduled Industrial Investment Development Department meetings.

- The candidate must have working experience in Mega projects as Man rep or project manager/project engineer with sound knowledge of project technical details and various utilities design and standards.
- Must be fluent and be able to effectively communicate in both spoken and written English.
Skills:
Knowledge of computers and basic software applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience should include plant design, site preparation, utility requirements, and downstream opportunities.

- It's a residence based position in Saudi Arabia, with 30 calendar days' vacation annually.
- The Operations Supervisor reports directly to Operation Manager or VP-in charge, and indirectly report to Rig Manager.
- It is the key support for all operational matters of the rig both onshore and offshore and support rig to improve the performance.

Essential Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
Held Lead Pipeline Engineering roles on onshore oil and gas industry projects.
Minimum of 15 years of project relevant experience in oil and gas industry with comprehensive experience in Pipeline Engineering. Onshore Pipeline experience is mandatory.
10 years’ experience in a Pipeline Engineer role either with NOC/IOC/PMC/PMS/PMT, International EPC or Design Contractor organization.
Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards. Previous experience with Saudi Aramco standards/projects will be an asset.
Direct experience in development of Pipeline design deliverables during Feasibility, Conceptual and Detail Design Engineering stages such as Pipeline Basis of Design, Alignment Sheets, Plot Plans, Route Maps, Pipeline Wall Thickness Calculations, Material Selection, Piping Material Specifications, Valve and Equipment Data Sheets / Drawings, Stress Analysis and Tie-In Schedules.
Knowledge of Pipe stress analysis programs such as Caesar II and Autopipe.
Knowledge of 3D modelling engineering software e.g. Intergraph, AutoCAD, PDS and PDMS.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
