Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for Construction Engineer (Mechanical) to be based on ZADCO Islands on a 4x4 rotation. The successful candidate would be:
Responsible for providing adequate construction & execution strategy support to the project Teams by providing adequate Construction site Management and support across all project phasesResponsible for ensuring construction site activities as per the agreed plansGuide the Contractor, planning teams to identify vulnerability and opportunitiesLead, direct & manage all construction related reviews, model reviews, risk assessments, constructability workshopsBe a safety leader in all aspects of his work and promote the safety objective among construction team / ContractorsAssist and lead the development of an integrated safety Plan for all construction activities considering the brown field worksAssist in the review and implementation of all Contractors safety plans and ensure HSE compliance is inculcated among allResponsible for leading and setting up the approval process for the Contractors activities in line with the site PTW / HSE requirementsManaging the Marine spread related interface with the Contractors / ZADCO LG teamResponsible for creating the necessary plan for smooth handover of the project facilities
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 15 years of Construction supervision experience in Oil & Gas industryConversant with relevant Codes, Standards and specificationsLeadership and communication skills with high interpersonal orientationPlanning, prioritizing and analytical skillsProficient in English languageGood knowledge of Computer applications
