Required Knowledge:
- ASME and API standards
- General engineering tools
- NORSOK standards within piping and materials disciplines
- Flexibility and stress calculations for piping systems
- Material knowledge, including rules for allowable stress and formulas for pressure vessel design calculations

- Detailed engineering for offshore development projects
- Establishing package specifications, inquiries, tender evaluations and package follow up to delivery
- Piping detail standards, penetrations and pipe supporting
- EPC/Shipyard experience
