The Key Responsibilities Are
- Supervise operating activities on site to ensure that all the prescribed HSE procedures and are fully adopted, both by Company staff and contractors.
- Ensure strict compliance with the company safety and environmental requirements, also by carrying out HSE inspections and control of safety equipment functionality.
- Attend all site planning, progress and other appropriate site meetings, particularly those where subcontractors are involved.
- Review the contractor HSE performance by inspection and by acquiring data in order to provide means to improve overall HSE standards.
- Ensure the adequate training of personnel operating on site;
- Investigate all HSE incidents, accidents, near miss events and issue prompt reports.
- Identify risk factors, risk assessment and safety measures to be implemented in the operating environment.
- Coordinate the HSE aspects of operating activities.
