Assistant Driller

EDC is Hiring! Position: Assistant Driller Requirements - 3 years’ experience in this position - Has experience with VFD control joystick rig (at least 1 years) - IADC WellCap-S / Wellsharp Supervisor Level or IWCF level 3 Jov Description -Safely and efficiently perform all duties assigned by the Driller during drilling, work over and completion operations. - Ensure all operations are proceeding in a safe manner in accordance with safety policies and procedures. Responsible for correcting and/or notifying responsible person of any unsafe acts or conditions which exist. -Attend and participate in pre-tour, post tour, special operations and weekly safety meetings. - Under supervision of the Driller, control actual drilling operations, depending on formations encountered, drilling efficiency, and problems encountered. - Under supervision of the Driller, make trips as necessary to change bits, tools, and drill string length. - Report any unusual occurrences encountered such as rate of penetration, mud weight, loss of circulation or other changes in hole condition to Driller.
