Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified professional to join their team as a Health & Safety Advisor.
Reporting to the Manager – Health, Safety and Training the H&S Advisor will provide key support to deliver the HSET metrics for the site.
Responsibilities:
Building relationships with multiple stakeholders across all departments of the site.
Participate in audit and assurance activities across the site.
Provide incident investigation support and facilitation where required.
Maintain injury management, health and hygiene and emergency response programs.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety - preferred
A Diploma in Health & Safety at a minimum or 2 years’ experience in a Health and Safety Role within an operational mining environment.
Proven experience in implementation and maintenance of health and safety programs.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Inclusive and collaborative communication style
Effective oral and written communication.
